Privacy policy
This is a draft that hasn't been reviewed by a lawyer yet.
What we store on our servers
- Update list (closed): if you joined the update list while it was open, we hold your email address, the time you gave consent and whether you are still subscribed. Nothing else.
- Nothing more: there are no accounts or sign-ups, and we never ask for your name, wallet address or keys. We don’t store IP addresses.
Stored in your browser
Nothing. This website’s code sets no cookies and saves nothing in your browser’s local storage. Fonts and images are served from this website, so no font or image service sees your visit.
Services that see your requests
- Cloudflare hosts the website and the update list database. Like any web host, it processes your IP address and request details to serve pages and block abuse, under its own privacy policy. When the update list form was open, your IP address was used briefly as a key to limit repeated sign-ups, and was never stored. Request logging for our website code is turned off.
- Other sites that we link to, such as block explorers, have their own policies.
How long we keep it
We keep update list entries until you unsubscribe, ask us to delete them, or the list is closed. Then we delete them.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you. Every update email will include an unsubscribe link.
Protocol privacy is separate
This policy covers this website only. How the Zeronym protocol is designed to protect activity on-chain is described in What stays private. Data on a public blockchain is public and can’t be deleted by anyone.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
