Share a record

Prove one payment with a receipt, without exposing the rest of your history.

Sometimes you need to prove a payment: to an auditor, a client, a tax adviser or a counterparty. Zeronym lets you share exactly that record and nothing else.

In the app, open Receipts, pick a payment and choose what the receipt shows. You get a link to send. The person who opens it sees only what you chose.

Two ways to share

Receipt Viewing key
Shows One transaction, with a stated scope Every transaction in the key’s scope
Past activity Only that transaction All past activity in scope
Future activity No Yes, until you stop using that key
Best for Proving one payment Ongoing access for an accountant or auditor

Prefer a receipt whenever one record is enough.

What a receipt contains

A receipt can include the transaction reference, its settlement status, the payment details you choose to disclose, and evidence the receiver can check.

Some claims need more than a receipt. For example, proving the amount of a hidden payment to someone who was not part of it needs a disclosure proof or a scoped viewing key.

A screenshot of the app is not proof of payment. Share a receipt or a disclosure proof instead.

You cannot take it back

Once someone has read a record, Zeronym cannot make them forget it. Revoking access stops future access through that permission. It does not delete copies the other person already has.

Before you share, check the scope that the app shows you, and share only what the other person needs.
